Services
Basic activities of the Company are towing services, salvations,
floating pontoon crane services, transport of oil and oil
products and ecologic protection of sea.
The Company offers its towing services especially in the area of the port of Rijeka, where it is monoconcessionaire, in the area of the shipyards "3 maj", "Viktor Lenac", and "Kraljevica", oil terminal Omisalj, in Plomin Bay, Raša, in the area of the Shipyard "Uljanik" Pula, the port of Pula and the port of Zadar.
Jadranski pomorski servis concluded a convention with the Ministry od Sea, Transport and Infrastructure about providing the service od intervention and preparedness of tugboats with the starting port of Zadar for marine seach and salvage, as for prevention and sanation of sea contamination by ships under the authority of the Republic of Croatia.
Jadranski pomorski servis offers its towing services in the Adriatic Sea, and since it has modernized its fleet by newly built tugboats, it offers this services to the whole area of the Mediterranean.
The Company is the holder of the Document of Compliance and Safety Management Certificate, proving that it meets all the regulations prescribed by the ISM Codex. Besides, it also holds the Certificate of Approval ISO 9002, awarded by the Classification Society Bureau Veritas.
The towing fleet has been last years modernized by newbuilt tugboats David Prvi, Mak, Lukas and Champion, the most expensive and most sophisticated tugboats, not only in Croatia, but also worldwide.
Tugboats are built for port and coastal towage, or for towage of tankers calling oil terminal, tanker convoying, firefighting protection and survey of polluted sea. Tugboats David Prvi and Champion are equipped with the most modern firefighting and ecologic equipment for clearance of incidents during oil pollution, are highly automatizied and disposed with the most modern navigation equipment.
The Company is with its tankers Bakar and Urinj engaged in the transport of oil, oil products and other liquid cargo along the coast.
